Aleksey Semenchuk was born on the 28th of March 1965 in Kiev. He studied in a music school the piano, and he studied in a secondary school where he studied English. 

After graduating from the school he tried to enter Moscow Theatre Karpenko-Kariy Institute but he failed. Not losing timehe entered Kiev State Gorkiy Pedagogical Institute at the faculty of Russian language and literature. It wasn't the act of despair because he started making poems in Russian and English. His poems were printed in the magazine «Vozrozhdeniye». He performed in the theatre-studio "Koleso" (Wheel) together with other young poets. Music for him was more than a hobby. Having a good voice Aleksey always had been in the center of the company and he always was with his guitar: in his yard and at various students' activities. When time came Aleksey joined the Army. He was there in the Song and Dance band of the КZPO. He was forced to work at school after graduating from the institute - but this job was very restricted for him. Despite the children at school worshiped their young and active teacher and his lessons were in so innovative manner that Aleksey always knew there was another appropriate place where his heart should be .

At that time he was a vocalist of Kiev team “Nameless”, who played music in hard-and-blues. There were concerts and fans. We were waiting for recording of our first CD...

While searching for innovations musicians we often made different kinds of experiments as well as spiritual. Such experiments led Aleksey to deep spiritual crisis which was added by the crisis in his creativity…

Only the Lord knew the way out of that darkness. God talked to Aleksey through the person at the meeting in protestant church. He showed him the way which was Jesus Christ!

He had found right meaning of his life, true love and the place his heart wanted to be in.

Since 1994 Aleksey has been working in Association Emmanuel. He started working as an interpreter. When the concert department appeared he began to develop his talents given him by God. Today he evangelizes, performs in theatre projects. He is a producer of several musical videoclips. He writes and sings his songs. He sang and played together with Valeriy Korop and was a leader of praise in the church "God with us". His songs are in the albums «There is a way» and «Light in the East-98.
