Shawed back of the head, leather coat - it was prestigiousness.

Sergey: I dreamt to become wealthy. I wanted to have money and
success among people: to have an authority that I have a car, well-dressed,
and smode expensive cigarettes. I didn't see myself to be somebody
definitely - just to be successful. I wanted to be in a criminal structure
and be a member of the grouping: shawed back of the head, leather coat - it was
prestigiousness among friends, women. I began drinking heavily,
because I had money, that we spent on drink in restaurants at
night.
Announcer: Criminal life didn't seem to be
so romantic for Sergey. He saw that there would be nothing good from that.
A sudden accident was a shock for Sergey: his best friend Yaroslav died from
the OverDose.
Sergey: At that time
his mother and sister (they were christians), and the church was praying for Yaroslav.
Announcer: The prayers of people did a miracle.Yaroslav was not only Ярослав
resuscitated, but stopped using drugs. His views on the life changed.
But Sergey understood that not at once. And he with his friend went to drink
and suddenly came across a person who was lying in a pool of blood. The suspicion was on
those who had been there. He and his friend was arrested.

Sergey:
At that time I sat and begam thinking how long this process could be. Because I
understood that my friends wouldn't help me, and my mother didn't have enough money
on the lawyer. Then at first time I turne to God and said: "God,
I understand that everything I did was wrong. I would like to change
my life, but I don't know how. I'd like to do something, but I don't know what.
I haven't learnt how to work, I have no profession. The only thing I can do- ask
for money and steal".
Announcer: Suddenly the situation changed
and they were set free. They were explained that real crimers were found and that's why
they were not suspected. Yaroslav became a believer and visited christian church.
Yaroslav's sister invited Sergey on the Bible courses. As Yaroslav had been going
there for six months, Sergey decided to go there.Sergey heard the story of one minister
about homeless children. And unexpetedly found out that he was shocked with the tragedy
of their life.

Sergey:
I showed the pictures of these street children. After the service I came and
looked. It was terrifying: there was one girn that was mocked at by
her mother. Something changed inside, something turned inside out.
I went to the place where children were paid attention: they were fed and
played with. That was children who lived in the vaults.
They didn't live with thei parents. Something was going on in my heart and
I understood that I had to be there.
Announcer: The work with choldren became a sense of Sergey's life.
And when he married, Valeriya became his first helpmate in this.
