Cor.: How did the name of your group appear? Answer: Initially there was no name. During the Easter celebration, I gave to the pastor a list of songs in which I marked: "Children band, a song Chaika ". Either it was just by mistake or the Lord arranged it in that way that the pastor went on the stage and announced, "Now A children band "Chaika" will praise the Lord's name." In such a way, the name appeared After the meeting, brothers and sisters told me that I had to continue working in that direction. Cor.: Where do your performances take place? Answer: I have seen the Lord's will that He gave us a special ministry - visiting orphanages. In June and July of this year we carried out gospel concerts in the street of our city. Cor.: Tell us more about your trips to orphaneges. Answer: In April 2000, we had our first long-term (three days) trip to Rubtsovsk city (178 miles from Barnaul city). We went to several orphanages in the city and carried out a gospel meeting in a big cinema house. It was a wonderful trip. After this trip all the children wanted to go back to Rubtzovsk. Cor.:Could you share with us, what are your plans for future? Answer: We have very ambitious plans. We started to work in real earnest. Children and I have a great desire to labor but every time we want to go somewhere, we face some financial problems. Only due to the group of young people from the church which collected contributions for us were we able to carry out long-term trips to Rubtsovsk. We have a desire to play concerts in different cities of other countries. We would like to help everyone who wants to carry out children meetings with our band. Now I am working on launching our own server of the children band.
