Corr.: How did you make a decision of playing and singing for God? A.T.: I always loved music but my dedication I made four years ago. A.E.: I wanted to become a musician even before I received Christ. Now I can see that such desire was put into me by God. V.S.: About 2,5 years ago the Lord put into my heart a desire to serve people through music. I had nothing but my Chernigov guitar (which means of a bad quality -- interpr.) and I could only dream of joining a band. I decided to be faithful in small things and joined a music group for kids. The opportunity of singing and playing for children was a wonderful gift for me. As usual God was faithful and once Denis came up and offered me playing solo guitar in the church music group. Corr.: What does the name of the group mean for each of you? D.T.: We called our first album For Christ and then discovered the name fitted our life style -- we know we stay for him with all our hearts and with all our souls. A.T.: I think our name speaks volumes. We're not ashamed of proclaiming the name of the One we believe in, and that's why he is not ashamed of us. A.E.: At my opinion we chose this name 'cause we really stay for Christ. We stay for what he said, for what he did and for what he told us to do. V.S.: You may understand it in different ways. When you read the Gospel of John 9:22 you can see that some people were afraid of acknowledging Jesus as Christ the Messiah. But I have no doubt about that since I know it's true. We stay for Jesus, in other words we are with him. Corr.: How are the songs you sing born? D.T.: There are times when the words seem coming directly from Heaven and the song is born within some hours; sometimes you have to meditate and made efforts for writing something; sometimes a song is being written within months. There is a small secret: the song is ready only after coming through the fire. Every song is anointed for a distinct purpose. After launching a new song you can see the fruit it brings, the message it conveys and how powerful its words are. That's why many songs just disappear because God wants the best. A.T.: It' s cool! I'd like to write songs myself! V.S.: Usually Denis shows us a new theme and we start playing it together. God is always faithful at giving us new ideas. Corr.: What does music mean for a Christian? D.T.: I believe everyone has his own calling from God. I love my God and I enjoy expressing myself through instruments and voice since I can do it better than anything else. Through singing I worship him. Thus music means much for me, but not more than the way of worshiping our Lord, the way of conveying our feelings and thoughts from heart to heart. A.T.: Music was created by God, its purpose was praising him and bringing us into his presence. That's why anointed music always draws us closer to God. It's a wordless language which both man and God can understand. A.E.: I agree that music was created by God for his glory. It's really powerful. It's easy for understanding. Through music you can express what you can't put into words. V.S.: For me music is a song of heart; a person sings and plays what he is filled with. Many musicians seek for their inspiration in alcohol and drugs, but my inspiration is in the Holy Spirit who lives in my heart. Music is powerful, it brings people joy, salvation, peace, encouragement and strengthening in faith. M.R.: Music is a way of expressing our feelings to God, pouring out of our hearts, our weapon against devil. Corr.: Who does attend you concerts? D.T.: We work with young people and teenagers, so our music is mainly aimed at this category of people. However quite often many adults shows up. A.T.: Yeah, they average age is from 12 to 30. We want to show them that God is simple, it's what they need for today. That's why on our concerts we try not to 'load' or 'unload' them but just spread the love of Christ and his truth. And the rest depends on Holy Spirit. Corr..: Where do you perform you concerts? D.T.: We give our concert everywhere: in the large theatrical and philharmonic halls, small clubs or cinemas and even open grounds. Å.À.: Mainly we do it in Sumy and Sumy area but also we give our concerts outside the region when invited by other churches. A.T.: We respond invitations, trying to be lead by Holy Spirit. Ñ.Â.: ...And I remember once in a Pheodosia restaurant Denis and Angela having a evangelistic meeting.. Corr.: Would you tell us more about yourselves: your hobbies, friends... D.T.: I was born on December 10, 1978. I've got a secondary education and two years of Sumy State University. I married a very beautiful and veeeery wise girl Angela. My hobbies are bass guitar and drums, I adore these instruments. My circle of friends is very wide, but there is only one true friend -- my wife. A.T.: I was born in August 19, 1977. I graduated from secondary and music schools. Married a very talented and anointed man I love, Denis. At the present time I work at our church as a Bible School teacher, also work with teenagers. My husband and I have many friends, we love fellowship. M.R.: I was born on April 1980. Secondary education. Now a first-year student of of the Higher Music College, drums department. I have a fiancee and is going to marry soon. Earn my living as a guardian. Have many friends at the Tabernacle Church. V.S.: I was born in December 11, 1982, secondary education, graduated from a music school. Now I'm a first-year student of the Musical College. My friends are both Christian and unchristian, I want all of them to be saved. One of my class-mates has already received Christ. A.E.: I was born in December 11, 1982. Now I am a high school student. I have lots of friends. I'm 17 but God already uses me in his field, I'm very young but already can understand some things adults sometimes can't understand. I gave my life to God and he gave his life to me. From the age of 14 I walk along with him and he never betrays me. Corr.: What are your plans for the future? D.T.: Our plans are great, it's impossible to tell everything. What I can say is we're just starting, there is something much greater to come, the main point is to obey the Lord. On March -- April we plan to release our new album Time to Fly. The album includes three songs out of four introduced in the Hit Parade. A.T.: Our plans are great!! We dream of robbing hell and peopling heaven as much as we can. We always want to glorify the One we love -- Jesus Christ! And there are lots of ways of reaching this goal. A.E.: I don't want to live for myself but I want to live for God and I see my future only in his will.
