Oleg: It is hard tell all at once, but I think that my testimony will be interesting for visitors of this site. My grandfather was a very gifted man, he painted, played violin and sang beatifully. Once he decided to check if his grandson had any musical talents. After he had checked me he said, "In regards of their understanding of music, people can be divided into three groups. First, there are extraordinarily gifted people, of whom there are very few. Second, there are people with average abilities who can develop their gifts and may achieve some result. And, third, there are people absolutely talentless and unable to understand music. Such people are also quite rare." The most interesting thing was that he considered me to belong to the latter group of people. He said I could do anything but music. But from my early childhood I wanted to become a musician. After I received Jesus, one day I started to hear in my head some music ideas. This started in 1992, and the faster I grew up spiritually the more gifted I became. I don't think that saying that I am gifted is an exaggerration because a gift is something given by God in a supernatural way. Vlad: There is a saying, "Tell me who your friend is, and I'll tell you who you are." I can tell you that most of my friends ended up in jail. Some of them commited murders, and the same destiny was waitng for me. Praise God, I didn't kill anybody, but I know that if I didn't understand that a life without God is a mirage, I would have followed in their footsteps. When God opened my eyes I saw a completely different life, and my life acquired an absolutely new meaning. Now when I meet my friends I tell them about God and try to convince them to come to him. I try to explain them that it is not a fairy tale, that God really changes lives and that if he changed me he can change other people too. Igor: The fact that God has given me a gift of music is one of my strongest testimonies. I can say with certainty that it is a supernatural gift because it is simply unreal to learn playing guitar in such a short period of time. At one service I received Jesus into my heart, and then I felt big changes inside of me. I became quieter, though life is quite hard these days. I got rid of harmful habits that I had. I used to quite often go to the bar after work. And now I am not even interested in that business. It means that God supports me, and my family realizes it too.
