The rock-band was founded in the church “The Spring of Life” in the town of Kerch. It’s difficult to name the exact date of its foundation. It all started from several songs written by Vitaly Yegorov for one of evangelizations. These songs became the beginning of “Tornado’s” repertoire.. At first the members of church praise and worship band played these songs. Some time later, the band was composed and it is still alive until now. The band is composed of: Vitaly Yegorov – lyrics, vocal, guitar; Yulia Yegorova – key-board; Olga Logunova – vocal, Sergey Potapchenko – drums, Vitaly Bespalov – bass guitar. Having written enough songs for a debut album, the band went to the town of Sumy where they made the recording in the church “The Ark”. The album was released in 2001 and it was more of evangelistic character (saxophonist Alexey Romanov also participated in recording the album and we are thankful to him). During this period of time, “Tornado” played many concerts in the neighboring towns and villages, supporting evangelistic ministry and brining the good news to the young people. They played concerts in Kerch, Feodosiya, Simferopol, and in many orphanages. The members of “Tornado” still play in the praise and worship band of the church. Vitaly Yegorov besides is involved in solo projects of electronic music «Twisterium» (albums: «My Little World» - 2001 and «Meeting the Sun» 2003). The new album of “Tornado” was recorded in a home studio and it was completed in March 2003. Alongside with the preaching-songs, there appeared songs about Christian life, its difficulties and victories. It’s difficult enough to name the music style of the band as a whole. The musicians are in constant creative search and they try to be highly original. Today, the style can be called “romantic rock or alternative”. According to the people who visited the concerts played by “Tornado”, their performance is very theatric and original (the musicians often put on some exotic costumes, decorate the stage and so on). All these things are done with one aim – to open people’s hearts, to break the wall of disbelief and after that. to tell them about Christ At the moment, they prepare material for the new album, plan to play some more concerts and participate in festivals, but the aim is still the same… About the album «In His love…» The album «In His love…» was released in 2001. The name of the album is explained in one of the songs («You can dwell in His love»). The record was made in the studio of the church «The Ark» (Sumy, pastor –Roman Vyatkin). In the recording of “Tornado” album participated: Alexey Romanov – saxophone, Vladimir Shipilenko – sound director and others. The material for this debut album had being gathered for several years. The album is composed of 9 mainly evangelistic songs. Olga Logunova, a wonderful singer, sang five of them. Vitaly Yegorov sang rest of the songs. About the album «Reflection» The album «Reflection» was released in 2003. The name of the album comes from the Holy Scripture (2 Cor. 3:18). The recording was made in the home studio of our leader Vitaly Yegorov. The album is composed of the material that didn’t enter the first album for certain reasons. We also added several “fresh songs’ (total of 12). The polarity of the album moved to teaching and encouraging of the God’s Church. The quality of the sound has changed significantly. Due to several reasons (mostly technical reasons), Vitaly Yegorov sings all of the songs. All the rights for the album are reserved by the church “The Spring of Life” (Vitaly Yegorov).
