I was born on August 28 of 1966. I graduated from Donetsk Industrial technical school and got a diploma – a manager of mine industry. From 1980 to 1981 I was one of the pioneers starting disco business. As a teenager I was a music lover and if I were woken up in the middle of a night and asked information about any group I could have told smoothly everything about it. I had two old role tape-recorders and lots of music. When I believed I started to look for christian music with the same feeling of zeal. Eventually, when I had found them I started distributing christian tapes all over Ukraine. I recorded my own two audio albums. I am married and have three children. My friends are musicians, singers, Andrey Levin, and Benny Miller who are in Israel now, and all brothers and sisters. During the night I saw a dream: I was performing a song of “Mashina vremeni” (The machine of times) “Marionette” but song’s words were different. As soon as I woke up I wrote them down. Later when I came to my church “Philadelphia”, which is in Donetsk, I sang the song to the brothers but they said that it wasn’t good to copy others melodies and also it was worldly melody. I put the song off and only later was the new version made. I wrote a song “Tears Of Rain” when I was in the reformatory school. It was written after I wrote a song “The Price”. I was standing at the window and gazed the rain. Suddenly a thought visited me that the rain was like Christ’s tears shedding for sinners who die in their sins. The song “At The Cross” came into being when I was in the kitchen. While I was playing the guitar an inspiration came to me – to write a song about what would I say if I happened to be on the street where Jesus bore His cross.
