Corr.: Igor, how did you make a decision to perform Christian music? I.R.: After I got to know God, I made a decision to serve him and people with the gift that the Lord had given me. Corr.: Do you perform with a group? I.R.: I don't have a group of my own. Arrangements for my songs were done by well-known Ukrainian arrangers Sergey Smetanin and Nickolay Pavlov. With the help of producer Vladimir Gaydukevich (production agency "Artiko"), this project is now being continued by my brother. *** Corr.: Could you describe us your creative process? I.R.: Before writing a melody, I pray to the Lord, and he helps me by giving necessary inspiration. Sometimes before writing a melody I can "carry" it in my head for a long time. Corr.: What does music mean to you? I.R.: For me music is a gift from above. And I know that by means of music you can do great and good works. I love music very much. Corr.: Where and for whom do you perform? I.R.: I write my melodies for a wide range of people of all ages. I often perform with various Ukrainian performers. Concerts with my participation take place in different places; I work both solo and with others. Corr.: How do you spend your free time? I.R.: In my free time I love to go outside of town, sometimes on my own. I can admire nature, God's creation, endlessly. I love travelling in new places. I have very many friends, most of which are musicians. Corr.: Is there anyone special in your life? I.R.: I hope that my future wife will become my best friend (after Christ). Corr.: Could you tell us about your plans? I.R.: My future plans are to glorify the Lord all around the world. I am planning to record an album for CD, and to shoot Christian video clips. I want to organize charity concerts for orphans and sick people.
