Question: When and how did you start playing Christian music? Answer: Since childhood I've always wanted to write music for God only. When it happened to compose something not glorifying God I just failed. With the lapse of the time I realized that my abilities were worthless without God. Question: Why is your group called 777? Answer: Our group bears such a name 'cause in the Bible many things are connected with the number 7. For example, it is written that God created the Earth in 6 days and on the 7th rested from all His deeds. Jeriho fell on the 7th day after 7 priest with 7 trumpets had walked around its walls for 7 days and blowen in their trumpets 7 times. Sirien commander Naaman dipped himself in the Jordan 7 times. On the whole, the Bible abounds in the number 7. 7 is God's particular number. There are 7 notes in music. The rainbow consists of 7 colors. When we came to a studio A-Gephen to record the first albume we were told, people in a Christian world would not accept us with such a name, since as it came out there was a conjak with the similar name. But we were not confused. When our album covering was under preparation a designer offered us to display a picture of an airplane steeply coming up to the hights. And only after the album was recorded we realized it was Boing-777. In assence this number means completeness and wholeness, fullness and integrity of God. Question: How do you write your songs? Answer: I always write songs about something that I experienced, felt deeply and realized in its fullness. Every song is a result of events I came through. Question: What does music mean for you? Answer: Music is one of the wonderful testimonies of God. Music is aimed at worshiping. Now people of the world do not even realize that the music they listen to also glorifies but the question is - whom? Eventually all kinds of music glorify somebody but I am absolutely convinced that only He, the Creater of the Universe, is worthy of this glory. Question: Why do you follow this trand of music? Answer: As I said before I wish to remain for ever one. Several years ago I couldn't even imagine I would perform music in such a stile. But I was rather inspired by such famous perfomers as Carman and DC Talk. When Christian disco appeared in America I thought: can't our youth keep up with them? Why if disco become a place for evangelization and worshiping God? It is but an amazing way to reach the hearts of our young people. God endowed us with this idea and we prayed a lot about this project. We believe these songs will produce the desired effect. As for the stile I guess music and all the stiles were created by our precious God and later stollen by devil. Today is the very time to recover them for God's glory. . Question: Where are your concerts held? Answer: We are eager to sing and preach to the youth at night clubs and at discos. We ask to get in touch with us those people who can promote distribution of our album among the youth. Question: Tell us please more about yourself. Answer: My name is Benny Miller, I was born on 25th of June, 1976 in a Pentecostals family in Chernogorsk city. I am an engineer by profession. I studied in a music school by violin class for three years and a half and received elementary music education there. I've grown up visiting church where my elder brothers and sisters praised the Lord. Therefore I wished to praise and service God playing instruments. Later I learned to play piano. But the Holy Spirit only is a real Teacher for all of us. At the end of 80's my elder brothers started an evangelization rock group - one of the first groups in the former USSR. In 1989 when I was 12 years of age my family moved to Israel. There I continued my education and got interested in technics and computers. I went on participating in worship group with my brothers and sisters. I was 16 when my first songs were written. Many of them are very popular today and are sung in many churches (One thing I ask of the Lord, We renew our strength in the Lord). When grown mature I gradually started to walk away from God... I couldn't find answers for many questions. But once I came to realize how much was lost when being away from God. One day I had an special encounter with Christ and after it everything in my life turned around. God touched me and showed me my place and calling. I received renewed relations with God. Recently I got married. Question: What are your plans for the future? Answer: I desire to record an album with live songs. There are many of them written for the project. I believe this idea came from God. I know the songs are inspired by the Holy Spirit at the times of revival. And we are conviced Israel is not an exception.
