Cor.: What is the name of your band? Answer: The name of our band is “The door to Heaven”. First of all it is the name of our church, and, besides, through the music we play people receive salvation which is the most important thing. Cor.: What was you creative way before repentance? Answer: Before my coming to God I wrote music that didn’t change people’s lives for the best, but when God touched me and my life changed – my songs also changed. The person who writes music understands that all his feelings will be reflected in his work. If there are sin and emptiness in his life – his songs will tell us about it. In the music that God gives me there are joy, peace and support. There is no depression or hopelessness. Cor.: How did your first encounter with God happen? Answer: It happened in one of the Pentecostal Churches of Belarus. Cor.: What is music for you? Answer: Music is the style of my life. If God gave me this talent – I will glorify Him with it. Cor.: How do you write your songs? Answer: When I am filled with God’s presence the music is born. The lyrics is based on the God’s Word. Kostya helps me to professionally arrange my music. My husband helps me with the designs of the cassettes and CDs. Cor.: What audience do you direct your music to? Answer: To different categories of people – both for young people and for middle aged. Besides, older people like to listen to my songs. Cor.: Where do you perform? Answer: In the city of Dnepropetrovsk. Cor.: How do you overcome difficulties and does the music help you in it? May be, you’ll remember some special case? Answer: God’s music always helps me to overcome difficulties. Cor.: Why do you play the music of this certain style? Did you ever have the desire to change the style of the music you play? Answer: My music is performed in the “mass” style that leads to worshiping God. Cor.: What is your attitude to the modern music world? What advantages and disadvantages do you see? Answer: The musical world is developing very fast and it’s an advantage. The disadvantage is that there are very few professional Christian bands. Cor.: What do you think, what are the most successful ways of evangelizing? Answers: The ones that justify themselves. Cor.: What are your plans for future? Answer: I am planning to release two new albums. From the April 7 we start an auxiliary school of worship where people from other cities will be able to study. The duration of the training is 1 month. In future it will be the institute of Worship and the training will last for 1 year. Cor.: At the very end, what would you wish our readers? Answer: I would wish them to listen to more of Christian music and not to be fond of world music.
