Cor.: Please, tell us more about the project of building the Christian center. Sergey Zhdanovitch: In the beginning of 2000, the authorities of the city appropriated a stead for buiding the Centre. It is 1,7 hectares in the park zone of the city, not far from Minsk-Moscow highway. There are all the engineer network conducted to the stead. God has given us the best stead in the city. There were carried out all the preparatory works and all the documentation. Now the only problem is finances for the building. For this reason we recorded on Lord's guidance the album "The Way to Heaven". We hope to raise the necessary money by selling this album. I think, readers need this information because it is very important that buying this album people would know where the money is going to go. Cor.: Could you tell us more about yourself? Sergey: I am married and have two daughters: Polina and Zlata; my wife's name is Oxana. I have a happy family. I wrote my first song for Jesus being a high-school student, and called it "Let Chist into You Home". I studied violin in musical school, then - in musical professional school. In 1994 for several months I sang in the Orthodox church. I repented on April 16, 2000ã. I devoted my life to Jesus and want Him to use me 100%. God has completely changed my life, my thinking and the values. Jesus is in me - I know that! Now I manage the Theatre of Song and have a private studio «NON-STOP-RECORDS». I am planning to start a professional worship group. I believe that the day will come when it will be natural and prestigious for every one to be a Christian. Andrey: I was born on November 15, 1971, I have a daughter Varvara and a wife Yulia. A part of my youth - from 14 to 19 I spent in the army – and, naturally it influenced my creativity. Having graduated from Minsk Suvorov military school I continued studying but quitted it very soon. For one more year a served in the army as a soldier and then came back home and entered the institute. In 1997 I graduated with major in architecture. For all these years, starting from school I tried to sing and play guitar and wrote songs. My songs were the reflection of my spiritual condition at that time. There were fruits of soldiers' sorrow and nostalgia and jolly student songs. When I came to God on September 17,1994 everything changed. I was able to get free from the burden of my past and to live for the best - for the future blessed by Christ. My preferences in music changed too. Now from my heart and my mind songs telling people about God's love and power are born. They say that the eternal life is not a fairy tail and the most important thing in this world is to choose the place where to spend the eternity. I thank God for the possibility to perform in the cities and towns, in churches and it schools, in hospitals and in retirement houses. I am glad that I have possibility to reach out to people's hearts and plant the seeds of gospel through my music. Cor.: What does music mean for you? Sergei: It is the expression of feelings coming from the Lord through prayer. These songs address each person no matter of what faith and denomination.
