I was born 26 September, 1968 in village Malintsy in Chernovtsy region. Some of my literary abilities were showed themselves when at school I wrote compositions in verse form, but at that time I did not pay much attention to it. As a young man, I wrote three songs about how strange love and human ideas are. When I served in the army, my Christian friend showed me 3-4 guitar accords and taught me a Christian song which I was singing for next several years. In 1989, on the 17th of October, while I was singing this song I heard some phrases in my head. I took a piece of paper and wrote them down. In about 20 minutes, a melody came to me. It was my first song. It also was a problem that I tried to solve -- and I found its solution in water baptism that I took four months later. Since then there were ups and downs, victories and defeats, moments of mature truth and strong disappointment, but never did I get disappointed in Christ. Every time when I had hard times he helped me, when I fell down he raised me, when I cried he wept away my tears. This is why I sing only to him. I receive my songs from the Holy Spirit, and dedicate them only to God's glory.
