Cor.: Please, tell us about yourself Answer: My name is Anita. I was born in Kiev. I have major in music, I have been involved in music and singing for my whole life. Today my life is devoted to serving God. I am trying to achieve maximum in my calling and to fulfill God's will for my life. I sing at Christian discos for young people, in worship band, and at various Christian undertakings. Cor.: How did you decide to sing and compose Christian music? Answer: The more I grew in God the less I was attracted to world music. Being in God for a long time I had been singing worldly songs if I had to perform in night clubs or in restaurants. However, praise the Lord, it didn't happen too often. The Lord arranged it in such a way that I had to perform in a night club only 2 or 3 times a month and the money that I got was enough for me for a month. However, those were my "childish times" in Christ. When I started travelling with the mission, with the festival of worship and evangelizations I had to stop working. I had to make the choice and it wasn't too difficult for me because I had always been attracted to God, and where I had to worship Him. No money can replace it. For some time I faced some financial difficulties but it couldn't compare to God's glory and the knowledge of God. Therefore, the more I got to know God, the more I was impressed with the songs revealing His personality, worshiping Him and letting come closer to Him, touch His heart, feel His presence. There are some beautiful worldly song but they are likely to bring emptiness, and when I sing for God His love, His presence and the Holy Spirit fill me. I thank God that He has answered my prayers and gave me the grace to write my own songs. There are not too many of them, but they are precious to me because God gave them to me. Cor.: How are your songs being born? Answer: The songs come to me during my private communication with God, during worship, praise and prayer by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes they reflect my own experience at certain moment. There is a song I have written in times of sorrow. It is a cry from the bottom of my heart to God. It is the song of hope and comfort. Cor.: What is music for you? Answer: Music is a gift from God, something that has to reveal God's personality, and God will heal, comfort, release and fill people with joy and love through the music. Cor.: What is your audience? Answer: My songs are quite various, and they are directed to different people. I sing a lot for young people, but I also have some songs pleasing all the ages and tastes. They are calm, having deeper meaning, easy to percept, but the main thing is that they would bring God's love to people, because everyone needs this love! There is a time for each song. If I sing it in the right time, it becomes special for that very moment. Cor.: Where do you usually perform? Answer: I usually perform in Kiev, and in other cities of Ukraine. Cor.: Could you share your plans for future? Answer: I would love to shoot video clips and bring the light of Gospel to the world. I want to produce for the world and for the believers albums filled with the Holy Spirit and recorded on the higher professional level. All my plans are in God's hands and I believe that He will give me everything to fulfill them. I am very happy because I am with God!
