Cor.: How did you meet God? Answer: God was revealing Himself for me gradually. And music has played the main role in it. Just due to my music lessons I started to see and listen to the world of God. I saw his beauty and the deep around us and inside us. It’s wonderful. Cor.: Describe me, please, your creative way to repentance. Answer: Before it wasn’t music – it was a fake. Thanks God that I did understand that. Cor.: How do you overcome difficulties, and does music help you in that? May be you’ll remember the exact occasion? Answer: Yes, it helps. And I’m surprised by the fact that it helps not only me. The thing is that my music was in psychiatrists’ hands «Music for thinking». Presently my music is being used and distributed by many doctors and health centers in Belarus and Russia. Cor.: Your musical role specialization — a drummer. Generally, what role do percussive instruments play in the musical ensemble? Answer: A drum was the first musical instrument on the Earth. A man was making melodies with his voice and a drum was giving rhythm. Rhythm — the basis not only for music, all the creation consists of vibration and pulsation, it obeys its own rhythm and there are a great number of them. Cor.: A drum and a timbrel were used from the ancient times in ritual activities and they made some effects like drug effects. And modern pop musicians use this method actively, "influencing" young listeners. So your favorite music instrument is not as harmless, do you agree? Answer: Well, people say that medicine is poison if you don’t follow the prescription. People use not only drums in pagan rituals. They use hallucinatory drugs and other occult elements. Usually young people come to the concert after drinking beer or even strong spirits, sometimes after taking drugs, it’s not a secret. I’m sure that musical rhythms — it’s a wonderful and endless world, they tune in to the life on Earth and in the Space, and this world of rhythms influence person’s life, his feelings, his spiritual and moral up-bringing in a very positive way. Cor.: Your album is called "Music for thinking ". What are you thinking while creating your songs and while you’re listening to your songs? Answer: Hm... I can divide all my thoughts and feelings into two big parts. The first part — is human relationships and the world in its endlessness in time and in space. It’s the relationships between a human and the world, the human and the society. And the second subject of my thinking is — nature created by God. I like nature very much. Every morning I run along the river, along the beach, I admire trees, sand, the sun, the sky. This is a wonderful world — it’s fragile and vulnerable to human irreflection, indifference, cruelty and die-hard at the same time and able to heal its wounds, and forgive us for them and again while reviving to give people beauty, strength and vivification. Sometimes I think that my music — is a sound accompaniment to the pictures of nature. One can just come here, listen to the sounds and, while looking round to watch the most natural and the best film in the world. Cor.: Why do you perform in this style? Have you ever wanted to change your style? Answer: Everything happened in a very natural way. I was working with music for my whole life, I studied it. And with time these classes turned into the attempt to write music. Regarding the changing of music style it’s quite possible in the framework of the instrumental music style. Moreover, it really happens these days. Music is very various and I show it in different images and it is divided into different styles by itself. That’s why I’m not bored at all. Cor.: What bands did you work with? Did you learn something from them? Answer: Yes, I managed to work with various people, everybody shared something. I gained basic skills when I studied by myself. It seems to me that we need both sources – different sources give different information, they develop the musician in the most harmonic way. Cor.: What is your attitude to modern musical world? What minuses and pluses do you see? Answer: There is good and bad music in modern musical world. But, I think, that immoral, destroying human consciousness art prevails. Minuses are that show business captures people’s minds due to modern technical possibilities. Pluses are related to technical possibilities as well because they allow people to create wonderful music. Ñor.: What are the most successful ways of evangelizing today? Answer: I think, all the ways are successful, any evangelization pleases God. Let everybody praise God with his own actions, and let these actions be good and thoughts - pure. Cor.: What qualities do you appreciate in people? Answer: I appreciate honesty and sincerity. Most of all I don’t like traitors. I don’t like "butterflies", men of no great depth. In relationships with people I appreciate unity — like in music: if sounds don’t fit — you won’t get a good melody. And people won’t make a good business and won’t have normal life. Cor.: If you were able to change the world, what would you do first? Answer: I would order to have the school lesson “Law of God” in all the countries. Cor.: Can you tell me, what do you want most of all, what are your wishes and intentions? Answer: OK. Most of all I want to make a wonderful concert here in Belarus. I want to do what wasn’t done before. I want to show our people the other world, the thing they know nothing about. I even have several variants of how it’s going to happen — depending on the resources and needs. I want to come around the cities of our fascinating beautiful European country. We would show all the people things they dreamt about even without realizing of that. I want all the people be really happy. And want to do my best in this situation. Cor.: What would you wish our readers and listeners? Answer: To read the Law of God. To continue listening of good music, and, of course, to remain good people, as much kind as it’s possible in our hard times, kind-hearted and considerate to people. And I want you to do unto others as you would be done by keeping God’s laws. If you’re forced to do something you won’t get much result, you’ll have a conflict inside you. That’s why I wish you to get what you dream about. Fulfill your best dreams, and only on this case your life be wonderful and you’ll fulfill our potential. See you at my concerts.
