	Interview - Trachuk Anna

<< Back to		Cor.: How did you decide to perform Christian music? Answer: In my early childhood, my parents revealed my gift of reproducing the tunes I had heard. Some time later, they took me to musical school. I loved the lessons and there appeared desire to sing something. Mostly I sand in school and in summer camps. I did that very often but always with great pleasure. When I became older, my experience was limited to parties with friends and family holydays. It was only then when Jesus came into my life and there came a desire to serve Him and perform Christian music. It's a great pleasure for me to sing that. Therefore, the decision to perform Christian music came alongside with my coming to God and desire to write came a little later because I had never seriously been involved in doing it. Cor.: Do you have a band and what is its name? Answer: I have a ministry in the worship band in "Word of Life" church. The group does not have a certain name, but it is not an obstacle for us to treat each other with warmth and attention. Good and stable relationships are important if you have a common goal - to bring people into presence of God. Cor.: How do you write your song? Answer: I do not consider myself either composer or author which is why I write songs very seldom. There are only a couple of them but they were written in times of special experience of God in my life. Cor.: What is music for you? Answer: Music. It is a short but wonderfully capacious word. It is difficult to put under certain framework expressed with words. It is also difficult to express in words Who God is because music was created by Him. I believe that is why music brings about powerful emotional filling - it makes you feel something. It can touch most inner being - what is not available for none of people. It causes us cry out and it fills our heart with unusual happiness and joy. And because music was sent from Heaven, it helps us understand in our Creator in a deeper way. It is difficult for me to imagine music we are going to hear in Heaven, but I think that it won't be the music we percept through our hearing but the music that will saturate everything and it is going to be wonderful. Cor.: Who do you sing for? Answer: It is God's desire that everyone would come to repentance because it is the most important decision in each person's life, even if the person is not aware of it. That is why I believe that the songs should be directed for wide audience and understandable for everyone - from a child to elderly people. Moreover, good songs must be heard by as much as possible people. Cor.: Where do you perform? Answer: The group I participate, has the ministry of worship and praise in our church and evangelistic ministry in Zaporozhye and Zaporozhye region. Cor.: Tell us, please about your hobbies. Answer: I am 30. At the age of 22 I got married and now I have a wonderful family I love very much. We have two children and we are waiting for the third one. I also have a ministry that is very important for me. 10 years ago I came to a church and received Christ. Since that time, God is my whole life. For three years I worked in a Christian mission in a Pentecostal church. For two years I traveled with a evangelistic tent through the cities of Ukraine and served with music and singing in a musical band. In 1995, I switched to the church "The Word of Life" where I participate in the ministry of worship and praise. My husband and I are both ministers in church and try to understand each other and support each other. I really appreciate the time sent with my family and our friends when we can meet together and have fellowship, discuss our joys and problems, share our experience and just rest. I am a happy person.
