Cor.: Darina, what does your faith mean for you? Darina: My faith gives me confidence in tomorrow because I'm sure what, or it's better to say Who, is waiting for me in the end of my life. It's God who loves me, Who forgave my sins and gave me an eternal life. By the way, He can give such a present to anyone who will ask Him about that sincerely. You will agree that eternal life perhaps is the best gift you can get here on the earth. Corr.: As far as I know you're not only a singer but a composer as well. When did you write your first song? How did it happen? Darina: I started writing music on composition lessons in the art school. And I performed my first song at the exam when I was seven. Corr.: The album you recorded recently is called «Meaning». Can you tell me what this name means? Darina: All the participants in the project «Meaning» wanted to show to listeners how deep and conscious becomes your life when you start to think about the meaning of your life. In the preface of this album there are such words: «Authors and singers of this album don't agree with the popular opinion. They say that our life is aimless and meaningless game. On the contrary, we are strongly convinced that human life has a great meaning. Being the creation of eternal, saint and loving God man is created in order to live in communication with his Creator...» This preface is a reflection of the main idea in the album «Meaning». A man should think about the meaning of the creation and the meaning of his own life. How can one drift through his life? Life comes by very quickly. It's so short and inimitable! How can you let it be useless? Corr.: Darina, what are your plans for the future? Darina: Today I record my solo album. I'm so happy to have a possiblity to work with professional musicians from the band "Pier": Alexander Logvinenko and Georgiy Zhaharov. I hope in future we'll devote more time for concerts and go to diifferent cities and CIS countries. I also dream to write a song for a choir perfomance.
