Cor.: When and how did you take a decision to compose and to perform Christian music? Answer: I started to compose music when I was studying in the musical school. I was 8. In 5 years: I came back from the pioneer camp in Georgia. It was when the accident in Chernobyl took place. As I came back home I saw a miracle, which happened to my mom. She used to have a problem with her heart, but now I saw her going up stairs as a young girl with bags in her hands. And she did not have short breath!!! I was shocked. “Mom, what does that mean? What happened to you?” “Jesus healed me!” These words made me interested in everything about this. Never in our family anybody talked about it, except talks about my grandmother, because she was singing in the church choir. My father is communist and officer; my mother is a musician with the higher education, and she was always the very first in building the communism. My grand mother, in her apartment we lived, was fighting in the Second W.W. She was a group commander on the front, when the leader was wounded. On the meetings she was always standing on the platforms with the red flag in her hands. And suddenly God! In those times for your belief you could be fired from your work place, or to be put onto the prison. My mother took Jesus Christ into her heart as her own Savior, and she was healed from many diseases. She started to work regularly in the church as the musician in the church. I accepted Christ into my heart also. I assisted the church choir, helping my mother in her work. The Lord filled me with his power, and the melodies of the songs appeared themselves. So I started to compose my songs. Cor. : Do you have your own band? What’s its name? Answer: At the moment I work with the glorifying group “Light to the life.” I would like to work with more movable group and to go for evangelizations. I want to praise Lord and to save people for happiness, because God have come to give life with abundance of love, health and happiness. Cor: How do you make your songs? Answer: In the beginning of my work I composed only the music for my songs. I looked for the thrilling words, started to play on the piano, and in some time I had the whole song ready. Quickly. I’m a quick person. I like everything quick and joyful. Once God has given me music for the song but the words were not for the music, I tried another texts but in was in vain. I was disappointed and addresses to my Mom: “I do not know what to do, I have music but I’m not able to find proper words”. “Ask God to give it to you,” - mother said. “But I do not write lyrics. I’m not a lyrist!” “The One, Who created you in such a perfect way, let you hear His music. Ask Him, and He will let you hear His words. He has told: “Ask and it will be given to you.” Let’s pray now.” My mother and me bow down on our knees. In a minute I’ve heard the answer. I played some notes and heard the text. I started to write down, then to play again, and hear the words, than writing them down. And all this still continuous. But sometimes I hear the words and music for one verse, and it takes time to “hear” the whole thing. Cor. What does music mean for you? Answer: Music is my life. This is a sky I fly in , as a bird, easily and freely. It is my nature; it’s a part of me. It means everything for me. When I sing a song I sing it putting in it all my feelings and all my soul. I give honor and praise to my Lord, my Creator. Cor. What audience do you address to on the stage? Answer: My songs and my works aimed to those, Christ suffered for; aimed to all ages. My songs are for everybody to be encouraged and comforted. My songs are to bandage wounds of heart, to put confidence into human’s hearts for tomorrow. It is God’s will. He is interested in that. Cor. Where do your concerts take place? Answer. My concerts take place in every place Jesus wants. I’ m ready to response anytime. I performed on the evangelizations in the streets, square and stadiums , in the theatres, cinemas, on the conferences and festivals in our country and abroad. Also I accept invitations from other churches. Cor. Would you please tell us about your plans and dreams? Answer. I compose music from when I was 8. As I believed I started to perform, to sing with musical band “Evangelist”. They made evangelizations in many cities in Ukraine and abroad. I did it in the time of my studying in the Bible College. I went to Israel with group of tourists as interpreter. God has given me many songs. I want people to know more about Christ. I want to sing not only for some people attending the Church, but for the whole world, to be helpful to Him, to serve Him for people get recovered, wealthy, prosperity and happiness in peoples lives. I would like to have my own keyboard instrument, to have all the time possibility to make arrangements for my songs. I desire to record all my songs as solo albums - God does not give them to me just like that. There is certain goal in it - to help people to walk with God. Of course, for fulfilling my plans I need money or sponsor.
