Plankin Igor Vladimirovitch, was born on the March 5, 1965, professional education, married, I have two daughters. Before I repented, I worked in different bands and orchestras of Zaporozhiye town and after that, lived in Moscow, travelled with tours (including with the band of Alexander Buynow), but couldn't live there more than four month. I was a composer and an arranger in the studio, but not too long. After I repented, for three and a half years I served in the worship band in the church "The Light of Waking", then switched for the worship group in the church «The Good News», where I serve till this day. Gradually, growing in Christ, and developing in my ministry, I started feeling insatisfaction with the music material that we were able to find. Probably it was the result of deficit of information and oddnes of churches in Zaporozhye and there was a feeling that we were walking in circles in our ministry of worshiping sometimes preferring the songs by Valery Korop and the songs from Lediayev's church or coming back to traditional hymns by Kenoly. In such a situation I consulted the sampler "The Song Of Revival" and tried to write music to the words of the sampler making necessary changes. The result of this work the first album "of the life of my dream..." home-recorded by the worship group from the "Good News" church. I wasn't quite satisfied with the results and I started writing my own verses. The Lord has answered my prayers. I could do something and soon it appeared that I had enough material to share with people. The result of my efforts were two new albums - "The Last Time" and "For the Ones Who Are Waiting". The songs from the first album we use in our ministry and the songs from the second one are personal, intimate, those are songs-meditating, songs-messages, songs-prophesies.; It wouldn't be exaggeration to say that they have been suffered. For recording these two songs I invited two vocalists - Andrey Greeshkovsky (we served together in the "Good News" church) and Anna Trachuk from the worship group of the "Word of Life Church". I am endlessly thankful to those people for meeting my need and agreed to participate in the porjects without having any financial benefit and not without counting on any success or glory. All that we didn't have support from the church administration or financial basis. I give all thanks that the projects were success or got somebody interested only to the Lord. I am also thankful to my wife and my children for their patience because all the recoding and editing took place in my house. They had to spend several hundreds of hours in a music box. I am afraid that even having a great desire to forget anything from the songs they wouldn't be able to do that. There is one more person I would like to thank for the help in the last stage of recording. His name is Volodia Kovalev, the sound editor at "Velikiy Lug" radio station, a member of a baptist church in our city. With his help we used the hardware of the radio station for cleaning the album from "noises", recording CDs and so on. Therefore these albums are the result of cooperation of members of different churches and denominations which is very encouraging for my heart. I have to mention one more person, a good friend of mine - Valery Korop. Due to his perseverance there was born another God's child - me. It was him who during six months regularly preached me on the phone. I came to his flat at six o'clock in the morning to pray the prayer of repentance together. The matter is that I knew Valeriy being in the world as a jolly guy, alcoholic and drug addict. The changes I saw in him made me stand on my knees before God Who he preached. Valera is still the closest person in spirit for me and I thank him for the words of encouragement I heard from him and for his prayers for me. Praise the Lord!
