Corr. What do your songs speak about? N.M. Since I am a believer, it is no surprise that my songs are Christian. The Bible says, "Out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks." My songs tell about Gog, his love, and the meaning in life. This is what I am really excited with. Corr. How are your songs being born? N.M. My songs are being born in a different way. Sometimes music comes first, and then I write lyrics, and sometimes the other way around. But every my song is my reaction to this world and its events, my evaluation of what is going on. In a real sense, it may be even simpler: my songs come from the above as a gift. Corr. What does music mean to you? N.M. I am a professional musician, so music is my life, it is inside of me. I don't listen to music like ordinary peoplle do, I constantly analyze it, try to find something new, and love to experiment. Though as every person I have my own music passions. I broaden my outlook constantly. The world around us changes every minute, and we should adequately react to these changes, for otherwise there is a danger that we remain face to face with our "works of genius." Corr. Who do you perform your songs for? N.M. People often ask me this question, and it is hard to give a straightforward answer to it. People of different age and social status come to my concerts, and each of them comes in their own mood. After the concert, when I see how their eyes change I become really happy. God changes these people. Corr. Could you tell us how you came to God? Ì.Í. It is a very interesting story. My attitude towards faith and believers was rather chilly. I considered God to be an invention of weak people who did not know how to solve their problems on their own. I had my own worldview, I liked philosophy, but nothing could answer my questions anyway. Once a group of Christian musicians came to our city with a concert. I liked their music, and I came to talk to them. They started telling me about God, his nature, and his love for people. I saw that they didn't lie, I was staggered with the fact that they were talking of God as of their best friend, so I wanted to have what they had. This is how I came to God. It happened five years ago, and now I travel with concerts, and in my songs many people can see the loving God who is waiting for us every day.
