Question: I know your song is very special. How and why did you decide to write the song? Answer: The song “Wait For Me” came out of my passion to talk about sexual purity. And I started talking about that. Very early on in my ministry, probably when I was 16-17. And it was really a great opportunity to be able to be a young person saying, "Here I am". A teenager talking to a teenager saying, "Hey, wait with me. Let's stand together." I got so much response to that message that I would share it from the stage. I thought it needed to be in a song too. Actually I had people asking me, "When are you going to write a song about sexual purity.” So on my “Transform” CD that song came. We've since received just a huge response to it. I think, people are really hungry to be encouraged to live God's way. Question: What kind of response did you get back? Answer: We when the song “WAIT FOR ME” came out, ever since then, even to this day and it's been out ... a year and a half or more now maybe even two years. We still just receive huge responses to it through E-mails, letters and from people all around the world. Saying, "Thank you for that message, thank you for the song." It’s kind of become an anthem for me. I suppose you would say. Question: Did you face any opposition in Europe? Answer: I’ve actually really been amazed I, that wherever I go people are very positive about that message. People are very supportive of me talking about saving sex for marriage and abstinence, even in countries like Holland, or Sweden and England. Places where sexual purity, I am sure, isn’t talked about very much. I’m Romanian you know. But wherever I go I talk about the fact that I am a virgin, and I am going to stay this way until after I am married." People applaud. And I think I suppose I expected it to be harder, you know I expected more opposition but I haven’t had it.
