It was 12 years ago. I was 16, and I studied at school. I took part in a fight that had serious consequences. The police arrested me and instituted proceedings against me, and my parents were soon to learn of it. I was tortured by the thought of how my Mom would take it. That day I was wandering around the city for a long time and, with my head bowed, prayed and asked God that my Mom would not learn about what had happened. I was praying with all of my heart, though I did not expect to receive an answer. But the miracle did happen: nobody ever recalled that fight. Another miracle. Once, when I was not a believer yet, I was present at a Christian meeting where literature about God was raffled. I recalled my first experience of fellowship with God and thought, "God prove me that you hear me. Let me get a book. You have answered my prayer once, and now I want to learn more about you." And I was very surprised to hear my name. I did receive that book from God, as a sign of wonderful life in Christ, full of miracles and surprises.
