I was born in 1961, on the 22th of June, to an ordinary Soviet family. Having graduated from high school, I played at weddings, on dancings and in restaurants. For a while I played at UkrConcert, but then decided to continue my musical education in Kiev Glier's music college. I did not graduate from the college because of my addiction to drugs. I commited a crime, was convicted and served my sentence, first in ordinary prison, then in strict prison. There I first heard the news of Jesus Christ, and there my new creative way started. I am married. My wife Svetlana and I received Christ at the same time, and we became members of a Baptist church. Most of our friends are Christians, and we are eagerly waiting to meet Jesus Christ to receive the reward that he promised all of his followers in God's Kingdom (2 John 8). Now, by great mercy of Lord Jesus Christ, I preach the Gospel in Ukrainian prisons. All of the songs presented for the hit parade are taken from my only audio album that I recorded soon after I was released from prison. Two people helped me to record this album: Salvation Army officer Alexander Nickolaychuk who supported the project financially and my brother in Christ Boris Primakov who recorded and mixed the album. Working with the album, Boris spent many sleepless nights at his studio in order to make it sound more or less professionally because it was originally recorded with Yamaha 520. I am very thankful to these people for their support both in prayer and in finances. May God bless them and always be with them.
