The most wonderful intervention of God in my life happened like this - I’m from a poor family and became a musician, music gave meaning to my life. I lived all my life under the wings of God. He saved me many times in different situations. After graduating from the music school I thought I would teach children for my whole life in a small town. But God had other thoughts, and I entered the institute of Culture in Kiev. After graduating from the institute I got married and stayed in Kiev. There were many temptations in my life, because as well as teaching I played in restaurants and weddings. I only had to wish! Drinking free of charge, doubtful acquaintances, doubtful «friends» - all of them praising you and offering anything you want! But God took me away from all those situations. I didn’t become a drunkard like almost all of my musicians friends. Many of them, by the way, tried to give up smoking by taking all kinds of medicines. But they were only released after repenting. God was the one who set them free from that harmful passion. Now they lead a normal life and serve God with their talents. Now I live with God in my heart and I know that it is Him, who leads me with His strong hand in my life. Halleluiah! I believe that God is my Savior and my counsellor, I try to live without giving offence to Him by any wrong-doing or weaknesses.
