<< Back to		Corr.: Which of your songs will visitors of our web site be able to listen to? V.L.: I offer three of my songs here. Two of them, "Looking for You" and "I don't Believe," are from my album "By the Road of Christ." The third song, "Stranger," is taken from an as-yet unfinished album. V.L.: I have been performing Christian music for five years, since I received Jesus Christ into my life. Now I actively create: write music, lyrics, and arrangements. Corr.: What have been the principal changes in your creativity? V.L.: Now I don't want to sing empty and senseless texts, I want to sing about our Creator. Christian songs are born differently than my earlier songs. The Lord gives me music and words. This comes in different ways, for instance, in my dreams. Sometimes I just start hearing the harmony or a melody very clearly. Sometimes I can hear pieces of phrases, in stereo. I try to immediately record it on paper or a keyboard instrument. Now I don't constrain myself looking for new music, I wait for it to come from the Lord. It may sound strange to some people, but this is the way it is. Corr.: Music for you is... V.L.: ... an inseparable part of my life. When I became a believer I received a revelation that music was given to us by the Lord. I started feeling that he positively influences me not only in my daily life, but also when I write music and lyrics. Corr.: Who do you appeal to from the stage and TV screen? V.L.: First of all, my songs address those who have not received Jesus Christ in their lives. Now I give concerts in many cities of the CIS, and I tell people about Jesus Christ. Recently I visited Korea, Singapore, Malaysia. Corr.: And, finally, a traditional question which people are always interested in. What are your plans for the future? V.L.: I have big plans for the future. Of course, I want to write new songs and record new audio albums. But my main plan will stagger many cities and countries. This will be an international TV festival of Christian song in which professional performers and musicians will participate. A TV version of these concerts will be created and aired on TV.
