This song is, so to speak, a "hit." When I sing it, people ask me to sing it one more time. It is my protest against false religion in our country and false Christianity in our churches. Many people are ready to pay any indulgence for their sins, but nobody wants to change their lives. Christian symbols (icons, crosses, etc.) has been present in every apartment for many years; you can see crosses displaying the dying Jesus Christ in the deep cleavage of women of ill repute and on thick gold chains on bandits' necks. They read the burial service over a Mafioso killed in the mob wars, and on their graves put monuments to the deceased bandit next to a cross. By this they try to identify these unrepented scum with Christianity, with the Lord's cross, and with Jesus Christ dying on the cross.
I believe that any sin can be forgiven, and there is no sin uncovered by the blood of the Son of God. That is why every time I sing this song I invite the audience to look at the crosses that they wear on their necks and look at them closely. Then I tell them in detail about what happened to Christ from the moment he was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane to the moment when the Roman soldiers hammered the rusty nails of our sins and crimes into his emaciated, beaten, and blood-stained body.

A bright hotel blinks with its lights.
The smoke of cigarettes and expensive wine,
A counter and a bar. A pair sits at the table,
He buys, he buys her for money.
Impressive attire, but empty eyes,
A black suit and a gun on the belt.
There is emptiness in his soul, and there is a chain on his neck,
With a small cross of God on that chain.
Refrain:
I ask you people! People!
Don't wear a cross in vain!
If you knew how he suffered
The one who was crucified on it.
I ask you people! People!
Let him dwell in your hearts
And don't crucify Christ again
With your sins.
Watch-towers and dogs, a three-meter-high prison fence,
Swearing and abusing escort on the dark wall.
An experienced thief with a tough sentence
Pierces with a needle, pierces with a needle domes on the back.
Everybody wears the same gray suit,
Malice and fear, this is prison life.
The number of domes shows the years of sentence
And there is a small cross of God on those domes.
